A Short Dialogue (in about 100 words) between two Class XI students exchanging views on an exciting cricket match

Write a Short Dialogue (in about 100 words) between two Class XI students exchanging views on an exciting cricket match

Mehedi                        : Hi! Mabrur, did you watch yesterday’s World Cup match between India and Sri Lanka?

Mabrur                       : Yes, I did. What a shame! India should play cricket no more with such a poor performance.

Mehedi                        : I agree. What a performance Sri Lanka gave even without Chaminda Vaas and Muthiah                                             Murlidharan!

Mabrur                       : You are right. But what hurts me most was the fact that India had failed to chase only 255 runs.

Mehedi                        : Yes, the team was a complete flop. Neither the bowlers nor the batsmen could give a good                           account of themselves.

Mabrur                      : Exactly. What do you feel about India’s debacle in this very vital match?

Mehedi                       : I think there was no co-ordination between the skipper Rahul Dravid, coach Greg Chappell and other players especially senior players like Sachin and Sourav

Mabrur                       : Your observation is quite correct. But the selection of players is also a factor, I think.

Mehedi                        : That’s true. But all credit goes to the Lankans who played as a unit and beat India.

Mabrur                       : Absolutely right.
