Mabrur   : Well, Ahsan, do you support the reservation of seats for the backward classes in higher education?

Ahsan :  No, I do not support it.

Mabrur   : Why not?

Ahsan : Because opportunity of higher education should be given on the basis of merit, not reservation.

Mabrur   : Why do you think so?

Ahsan : Because if the students of the backward classes are not meritorious enough to qualify in the Joint Entrance Examination, how can they be skilled doctors or engineers in future?

Mabrur   : Yes, you’re right. I think there should be protest against this bill.

Ahsan : We must demand that the reservation in higher education should be abolished.
